ARLISSE ALMENGO
Arlisse is a very dedicated and hardworking person. Since very young she had a passion for fashion and volleyball. During her senior year of high school she made it into her schools volleyball team, but wished she tried out sooner. She was a starting setter and even though it was going to her first and last year playing, she made the best of it.
She is currently a game manager for CSSA. She makes sure the playing fields are set up in time, runs the clock and keeps track of the scores. Arlisse is also an aide in the Yonkers public schools. She worked with a special needs student whom she supported throughout his high school experience. Apart from being a game manager and an aide, she takes care of two amazing young boys, ages 5 and 6, after work.
Other aspirations of Arlisse is wanting to become a teacher. She’s currently pursuing a Bachelor and Master’s degree, simultaneously, at Mercy University. She’s majoring in education with a focus on TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) hoping to graduate with both degrees in May 2026.
