Barbara Palmer GREENE

Barbara Palmer Greene holds a Health and Physical degree from LIU C.W. Post, where she acquired a Softball and Academic Scholarship.  Barbara than went on and received her master's degree in Elementary Education. In the interim Barbara volunteered 13 years of her time at Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx as a Girls Basketball Coach. Barbara also coached the New York Raven's Summer AAU team for one year under the direction of Gary Decesare High of St. Raymond's High School.  Barbara is now a Health and Physical Education for the NYCDOE for the past 32 years. Barbara currently works at MS 302 in the Bronx, New York, where she coaches Volleyball, Flag Football and Tennis.

Barbara's future aspirations are to help the CSSA Organization grow not only competitively, but also to spread the importance of child involvement in team sports. On her spare time Barbara loves attending her son's (Tyler and Donte) games at their respective schools of OSL and St. Joseph Regional. Barbara is also involved in the Sophie Gerson Healthy Youth Foundation where she accompanies 125 student's from the New York area to Camp Zeke where they are involved in a week of fun in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
