Brandon Durant
Brandon Durant believes that strong communities start with teamwork—both on and off the field. As an Assistant Public Health Engineer for Rockland County, he works to protect public health through sustainable water and environmental initiatives, bringing the same dedication and problem-solving mindset that he brings to CSSA.
A proud graduate of the University at Buffalo, Brandon holds four degrees: a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, a B.S. in Biology, an M.S. in Environmental Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering. His educational journey reflects a lifelong passion for understanding how systems work and using that knowledge to make a positive impact.
Since joining CSSA in 2023, Brandon has contributed across nearly every area of league operations—transporting and presenting trophies, assisting with event logistics, resolving on-site challenges, and ensuring quality control at games. His organized approach, technical background, and commitment to service have made him a dependable part of the team.
Looking ahead, Brandon aims to help the league continue growing efficiently and effectively, developing systems that make event planning smoother and support staff collaboration. For him, being part of CSSA is about giving back—helping young athletes experience teamwork, discipline, and confidence that extend far beyond sports.
Outside of work, Brandon is a former soccer, volleyball, and track athlete who still brings that same competitive energy and team spirit into everything he does. A fun fact—he attended the High School for Math, Science, and Engineering in Manhattan, one of New York City’s specialized high schools known for its collaborative and high-achieving students.
