Christen Colon
Christen Colon serves as Game Manager and League Coordinator at the City Schools Sports Association (CSSA), where he brings a wealth of experience from his extensive involvement in sports management. His journey with CSSA began through a natural alignment with his passion for service, particularly within youth and underprivileged communities. In addition to his roles at CSSA, Christen owns and operates the NYC Metro Baseball League, a registered non-profit organization dedicated to community service through sports.
With a Master’s degree in Information Management from Syracuse University, Christen excels in leadership, strategy, efficiency, and organization. He is well-regarded for his contributions to CSSA, with positive feedback indicating a noticeable impact on the organization’s operations.
Outside of CSSA, Christen wears many hats within the baseball community: as a full-time high school baseball umpire, coach and sponsor of a Little League team in the Bronx, coach of several adult teams, and operator of a baseball apparel business. A father of two, he continues to play competitive hardball, maintaining his love for the game.
