KEVIN WYMAN

With nearly two decades of dedicated service in education, Kevin Wyman has made a significant impact as a Physical Education Teacher, former Athletic Director, and Youth Sports Coach at Family Life Academy Charter School. His career spans from September 2005 to June 2023, during which he fostered an inclusive and respectful learning environment. Kevin's commitment to culturally relevant curriculum has empowered students to develop empathy and respect for diverse identities, all while promoting healthy lifestyles through comprehensive physical education programs.

As the Athletic Director, he expertly coordinated middle school athletics, ensuring smooth communication among students, parents, and coaches. His organizational skills extended to managing schedules, tracking registrations, and overseeing logistics for various athletic events. In his coaching roles, including Youth Basketball, Volleyball, and Soccer, Kevin not only honed athletes’ skills but also instilled values of discipline and teamwork, paving the way for many students to pursue sports at higher levels.

Currently, Kevin is expanding his expertise as a Game Day Manager with City Schools, where he oversees game logistics and enhances the experience for athletes and spectators alike. He is seeking new opportunities to continue his passion for education and athletic development, aiming to leverage his extensive experience in creating dynamic learning environments and fostering strong community relationships. 

Kevin’s future aspirations is eventually opening up his own community center, which will focus on supporting youth development through specialized programming, increasing education equity, and offering valuable mental health supports.
