Licha gonzalez

Licha Gonzalez is a Fordham University alumni with a Bachelor's in New Media and Digital Design and a minor in Marketing who has forged a path in sports management and digital media. Her journey with the City Schools Sports Association began in 2022 as their inaugural Social Media Intern, where she boosted social media engagement by 50% and produced a CSSA Athlete Spotlight Video as part of her Senior Capstone Project. Through dedication and proven results, Licha has been recognized through Fordham’s Serving the City internship program and worked her way up to become CSSA’s first full-time employee, exemplifying her commitment to the organization's mission.

In July 2024, Licha advanced to the role of Program Director, where she now oversees a wide range of responsibilities including managing programs, coordinating league registrations for over 60 schools, revamping the league’s website, and streamlining operational processes. Notably, she has taken charge of spearheading the internship department as its first director, coming full circle from her own start as an intern.

In her current role, Licha offers valuable internship opportunities to students from her alma mater and beyond. She aims to leverage her creativity and digital expertise to develop innovative initiatives that enhance the organization's programs and champion sports access for underrepresented youth.
