NIChOLAS STANTON

Nicholas Stanton is an education, nonprofit, and youth development leader with extensive experience overseeing large-scale programs that expand opportunities for young people across New York City. As Senior Director at New York Edge, Nicholas provided strategic and operational leadership across more than 110 K–12 school communities throughout all five boroughs, supporting programs that served thousands of students and families. His work focused on strengthening program quality, developing staff, building effective school partnerships, and ensuring young people had access to meaningful academic, enrichment, and extracurricular opportunities.

Nicholas later served as Chief Program Officer at Drive Change, where he oversaw the organization’s programmatic strategy and a portfolio of approximately $7.5 million. In this role, he led teams and organizational initiatives focused on workforce development, education, and creating pathways to long-term success for young people. His professional journey has also included time at St. John’s University, further strengthening his connection to education, student development, and service.

Today, Nicholas continues his commitment to student success and athletics as Head Cheerleading Coach at Long Island University (LIU) Brooklyn, where he is helping develop and grow the university’s cheerleading program. Across his work, Nicholas is passionate about creating equitable opportunities for young people, building strong programs and teams, and using education and athletics as vehicles for leadership, confidence, community, and personal growth.
